How it Works?

It is an internet car pool tool to connect drivers and passengers in Tasmania. And, it’s as easy to use as clicking to become a member, sending us a few details about yourself (for the confidential database managed by shanti nomadic), paying your 15 dollars life time membership, or 8 dollars 6 month membership, which will give you an access code to read about contacts for all the offered rides and searches, or else make a post “looking for rides” or “looking for passengers”.

To make the site user friendly and as safe as possible with key car pool etiquette and advice on how to be a cool pooler. We ask that all members give basic details about themselves, including information such as driving experience, the type of car they drive and routes frequently travelled. Furthermore, an effective feedback mechanism for sharing information on the rides taken allows other members to view comments on how their ride was.

All of the membership fees circulate into the maintenance and improvement of the online carpool. Any excess fees that might appear will be used for marketing the car pool to increase the users and the likelihood of you finding the ride or passenger you hope to share the road with.

Cool Pool Tas takes no responsibility for the safety of passengers and drivers. However, through this site we mitigate risk as much as possible by sharing a small piece of information written by members and a photo (optional but encouraged), for other members to view of the driver/passenger, and their vehicle (if applicable). Also, and importantly, we have provided a general guide for how much you should collect (as driver) or pay as passenger, pending on the persons in the car.
If a member is reported as utilising this online site as a means of making money, they will be removed from the system. We are a car pool connection family and we are about sharing, safety and saving- dollars and the health of our natural and built environments. We are also wholesomely into the connections! If members meet on this site and can arrange their own car pool tradeoffs (you drive one day, me the next type thing), we are fully supportive of TRADE a RIDE.

As on our workplace intranet, I strongly recommend that photo images cannot be electronically copied (ie disable mouse right-clicking) from webpages and that potential carpoolers be made aware that their image cannot be copied and it is safe to add to the website. Cheers
